Jeil Trading announced on the 27th that it participated in the "Korea Public Procurement Expo 2026" held at KINTEX in Ilsan, showcasing its dried salt and road surface anti-icing coating "Freeze Off Coat."

The expo, held from the 25th to the 27th, was organized to support market access for outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises and stimulate the economy through public procurement, and is one of Korea's leading public procurement exhibitions with 669 SMEs, venture firms, and innovative companies participating.

The dried salt showcased by Jeil Trading at this expo features a moisture content reduced by more than 75% compared to conventional de-icing salt, minimizing clumping during storage, and uniformly managed particle sizes of 2–8mm to improve spreading equipment operational efficiency. The company expects the product to enhance work efficiency and on-site responsiveness in winter road management for road management authorities such as local governments.

Freeze Off Coat is a patent-registered ultra-thin anti-icing surface treatment applied directly to road surfaces. It lowers the freezing point of road surfaces to -5°C to prevent black ice accidents, and uses non-chloride components to minimize corrosion and damage to road infrastructure. It can be applied directly to existing asphalt and concrete roads without surface removal or repaving, and its effects last for two years or more. It also delivers anti-icing performance without the need for pre-application of de-icing agents, enabling flexible response to sudden snowfall or rapid temperature changes. Jeil Trading noted that the product's immediate effectiveness and long-term durability have been verified at various domestic and international sites, including a pilot installation at Gimpo Airport.

A Jeil Trading representative stated, "This expo provided a meaningful opportunity for public agency officials to directly examine and experience our de-icing solutions firsthand," adding, "We will continue to devote ourselves to developing road safety products that meet the practical needs of the field."
