De-icing agent specialist Jeil Trading announced that it signed a large-scale supply contract with Chinese calcium chloride manufacturer Suyan Jingshen (苏盐井神) on the 19th. The contract is part of a strategic partnership for the stable supply of key products including de-icing calcium chloride, refined salt, and soda ash, with both companies agreeing to jointly pursue expanded supply in the Korean market and strengthening of the eco-friendly de-icing agent lineup.

Suyan Jingshen is a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and China's largest manufacturer of salt, soda ash, and calcium chloride, producing 8 million tons of salt-chemical products annually. It holds rock salt reserves of approximately 12 billion tons — the largest in Asia — and exports its products to 13 cities across China and over 40 countries worldwide through its own logistics network.

Suyan Jingshen Vice President Yin Hai Bin stated, "Jeil Trading is the highest-performing company among our overseas partners," adding, "Through this contract, we will further solidify the cooperative relationship between our two companies and accelerate our push into the Korean market."

A Jeil Trading representative stated, "This contract has further strengthened our stable raw material supply chain," adding, "Building on our strategic cooperation with Suyan Jingshen, we will continue to pursue sustainable growth in the domestic road safety sector through 2026 and beyond."
