Jeil Trading announced on the 3rd that it has obtained Performance Certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (중소벤처기업부) for its eco-friendly de-icing agent "Jeil 3+."

The certification was awarded for Jeil 3+, which was developed by recycling shellfish waste — including oyster and abalone shells — generated in large quantities domestically each year.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups Performance Certification is an official certification system based on the "Act on Promotion of Purchase of Small and Medium Enterprise Products and Support for Development of Their Market," which formally verifies that a product developed by a small or medium-sized enterprise meets or exceeds a defined standard of performance and quality. Certified products are designated as priority purchase targets for public institutions, providing advantages in expanding public sector sales channels and objectively demonstrating a company's technological capabilities.

Jeil 3+ received its certification having verified the following performance attributes through accredited testing: enhanced skid resistance utilizing shell powder, reduced airborne dust through clay and porous structure components, superior ice-melting performance even in extreme low-temperature conditions (-30°C), and steel corrosion inhibition effects.

Jeil Trading stated, "This is the result of receiving simultaneous recognition for two values — resolving environmental issues through waste resource recycling, and delivering outstanding de-icing performance."
